Lessons stop freezing, and modules gain Resources with link previews

No more frozen lessons

On a lesson with an On this page outline, the first scroll, key press or click could freeze the tab, because rendering the lesson updated the outline and the outline rendered the lesson again, without end. That loop is gone, and scrolling no longer re-renders the player. On a long lesson the median scroll frame went from 44 ms to 8 ms. Every lesson now sits in one centred column with On this page in the margin, and a new reading setting moves it to the start instead.

Resources with previews

The player’s Files tab is now Resources. It lists the module’s files and links, and a Previews view shows each link as a card with the page’s image, site name and description. Authors manage links in Module Studio: add, edit, reorder and refresh a preview. A link reaches learners as soon as it is saved, without a new module version.

A certificate for every path

A certificate rule that covers every path now counts as set up, and the certificate it issues names the learner and the path, in the learner’s language. It used to read Certificate of completion, awarded to Learner. Arabic certificates lay out right to left. Learners also see only published modules in their paths, so a draft no longer appears as an empty stage or keeps a path from reaching 100%.

The platform user directory

Super admins on app.fkra.ai get a directory of every account at /admin/users, with each user’s organizations, platform role, status, sign-up method, join date and last sign-in. It searches by name, username or email and filters by status, sign-up method, role, organization and join date on the server, so the filters cover every user. On a workspace’s address, the workspace switcher has a Platform administration entry that goes back to app.fkra.ai/admin.

• Hovering a segment of a stage track names its module, and a collapsed stage shows its name and count.
• New sign-ups join the fkra organization as learners, and Google sign-ups get a personal organization, as email sign-ups already did.

• The path page’s track draws the stage in progress module by module and shrinks the rest, like Today’s.
• Corners follow the brand guide: 10 pixels on buttons and inputs, 14 on dialogs and 20 on cards.
• Dark mode drops its lavender tint for neutral greys.
• The home hero gives business, agencies and creators a demo of their own: a skills matrix, a client portal and a storyboard.

Fixed

• The path page filled its segments from the left, so finishing module 2 before module 1 marked the wrong one done.
• A video in a lesson reloaded whenever the lesson re-rendered.
